Afghanistan is one amongst the poorest countries in the world. In Afghanistan, poverty is widespread in rural and urban areas. More than 90% of the population live below the poverty line. There are more than 2,5 Million widows and close to 2 Million orphans who are left vulnerable and not knowing where their next meal is coming from.
For many mothers, their daily decision is deciding which of their children will have something to eat.
